Reaffirm, modify, or rescind the action to place the General Manager on paid administrative leave pending the investigation of the allegations against him. – Lisa Copeland, General Counsel and Katherine Jenson, Legal Counsel
Background:
On March 17, 2008, the Board voted unanimously in open session to place the District’s General Manager on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an independent investigation into the allegations that have been made against him. Some members of the public have objected that the “Public Comment” portion of the agenda had not yet occurred before the Board acted. In order to address this objection, it is recommended that the Board reconsider this matter after considering public comment.
Staff Recommendation:
Consider any input from the public and then either reaffirm, modify or rescind the prior action to place the General Manager on paid leave.
