Discussion and/or appointment of nominee(s) for the Trustee Representative to the Vector Control Joint Powers Agency (VCJPA) Board of Directors and nominee(s) to serve as Alternate Trustee. – Diane Glanz
Background:
The San Joaquin Valley/Southern California Trustee Representative’s position on the VCJPA Board of Directors will expire on June 30, 2008. Currently, the position of Trustee Representative is being held by Mr. Henry Morgan, San Gabriel Valley MVCD and the Alternate Trustee Representative position is being held by Ms. Janice Heidt, Greater LA County VCD. At this time, they are seeking nominations from member Districts for both of these Trustee positions. More than one person may be nominated by a District. The deadline for these nominations is April 18, 2008, and nominees must provide a brief biography to include with the nomination form
The election ballots will be mailed on May 2, 2008, and the results will be announced at the June 18, 2008, Board of Directors’ meeting. Each District is allowed one vote.
