Report:
The majority of the sessions at this informative conference focused on employment law and labor relations for public agencies. The legislature continues to be very active and speakers presented information on legislation that affect human resources and labor relations. They also presented an analysis of the year’s court decisions that specifically impact local agencies.
This conference was especially beneficial because it was specifically designed for public agencies, which must observe many laws and regulations that are not required of private institutions. Attending this conference on an annual basis would provide much needed information for our human resources department.
