Approval for Trustees desiring so to attend the Special District and Local Government Institute Administration Seminar June 26-27, 2008, in San Diego in an amount not to exceed $3,000.00 from Fund #6120.01.250 – Trustee Support.
Background:
This educational seminar is intended to provide special district management team members with the tools and methods for dealing with the challenges facing local government agencies. Speakers will discuss tools and methods for dealing with the challenges facing local government agencies and offers insights for solving today’s leadership challenges. The seminar is a part of the certification program in special district leadership and management.

Fiscal Impact:
Current funds available from Fund #6120.01.250 – Trustee Support is $4,235, which is 18% of the budgeted amount for this line item. This expenditure is approximately 71% of the available balance.
