Agenda Item: Consent Calendar
Approval for General Manager Don Gomsi, Secretary/Treasurer Bruce Underwood, and Finance Administrator David IAnson to attend the 2008 Annual VCJPA Workshop, February 24-26 in Aptos, in an amount not to exceed $1,800 to be taken from fund #6110.01.225 Conference Expense and not to exceed $1,200 to be taken from Fund #6120.01.250 Trustee Support.
Background:
The annual VCJPA workshop provides
information on the programs offered and status of funds controlled by
VCJPA. The meeting provides an
opportunity for each District to have direct input on the scope, focus and
direction of the JPA and its expenditures.
Staff Recommendation:
Approve attendance at the annual VCJPA workshop for General Manager,
Secretary/Treasurer, and
Fiscal Impact:
Current funds available from Fund #6110.01.225 Conference Expense is $48,806, which is 90% of the budgeted amount for this line item. This expenditure is approximately 4% of the available balance.
Current funds available from Fund #6120.01.250 Trustee Support is $11,427, which is 48% of the budgeted amount for this line item. This expenditure is approximately 11% of the available balance.
