Approval for the Assistant to the General Manager Diane Glanz; Anita Jones, Human Resources Manager; Edward Prendez, Information Systems Analyst; Cary Roberts, Geographic Information Systems Analyst to attend the California Special Districts Association 39th Annual Conference & Exhibitor Showcase September 22-25, 2008, in Irvine in an amount not to exceed $2,500 from account # 7600.01.200, Administration Staff Training; $2,500 from account # 7600.01.210, Information Systems Staff Training.

 

Background:

This annual conference is an educational conference designed to provide information to special districts.  This year’s program is focused on embracing technology.

Fiscal Impact:

Current funds available from Fund #7600.01.200 – Administration Staff Training are $25,000 which is 100 % of the budgeted amount for this line item.  This expenditure is approximately 10 % of the available balance.

 

Current funds available from Fund #7600.01.210 – Information Systems Staff Training are $10,954 which is 100 % of the budgeted amount for this line item.  This expenditure is approximately 23 % of the available balance.

 

Current funds available from Fund #6120.01.250 - Trustee Support are $24,000 which is 100 % of the budgeted amount for this line item.  This expenditure is approximately 21 % of the available balance.
