Approval for General Manager Gomsi to attend the AMCA Washington Day meeting, May 5-7, 2008 in Arlington, VA in an amount not to exceed $2500 from Fund #6110.1.225 – Conference Expense.

 

Background:

 

The Spring Washington Conference is an excellent venue to identify issues or concerns that can only be examined and resolved at the federal level or on a nationwide basis.

 

Staff Recommendation:

 

Approve attendance at the AMCA Washington Day meeting, May 5-7, 2008 in Arlington, VA in an amount not to exceed $2500 from Fund #6110.1.225 – Conference Expense.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

 

Current funds available from Fund #6110.01.225 – Conference Expense is $45,834, which is 84% of the budgeted amount for this line item.  This expenditure is approximately 5% of the available balance.
