Approval for Trustee Underwood to attend the Special District and Local Government Institute Board Secretary Workshop June 28, 2008, in San Diego in an amount not to exceed $500 from Fund #6120.01.250 – Trustee Support.
Background:
This educational workshop is intended to provide special district Board Secretaries with tools and information on their role with the Board, public, and staff, legal requirements, regulations, rules, and with handling difficult situations.
Staff Recommendation:
Approve attendance of Trustee Underwood to attend the Special District
Institute and Local Government Institute Board Secretary Workshop June 28, 2008,

Current funds available from Fund #6120.01.250 – Trustee Support is $5,632, which is 14 % of the budgeted amount for this line item. This expenditure is approximately 9 % of the available balance.
