Ratification of Contract with Interim General Manager.

 

Background:

At the April 22, 2008 Special Board Meeting, the Board voted to hire Ray Griest as the District’s Interim General Manager.  However, the contract for Interim General Manager services was not completed as of that time.  The Board authorized the contract to be prepared and executed by the Vice-President of the Board.

The contract was drafted by Leibert Cassidy Whitmore, and has been executed by Mr. Griest and Trustee Underwood.  Since the contract was not presented to the full Board for approval, and since the contract was signed by Trustee Underwood instead of former Vice-President Fuschetti, it is presented for ratification at this meeting.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Mr. Griest will be paid $77 per hour for his services.
