Approval of Resolution 2007-18 to grant a gift certificate for a turkey for work to be completed in December to employees.  Total amount not to exceed $1,500.00 from Fund #6120.01.250 – Trustee Expense.

 

 

Background:

Each year the District recognizes the contributions of its employees during the Holiday Season with a turkey or equivalent gift certificate valued at $25.00 for work to be completed in December.  This Resolution authorizes the General Manager to purchase the turkeys or equivalent gift certificates.

 

 

Staff Recommendation:

Approve Resolution 2007-18 granting a gift certificate for a turkey or equivalent gift certificate for work to be completed in December to employees from Fund #6120.01.250 – Trustee Support.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

Current funds available from Fund #6120.01.250 – Trustee Expense is $19,376.95, which is 81% of the budgeted amount for this line item.  This expenditure is approximately 8% of the available balance.
