Agenda Topic:  New Business

 

Approval of funding for the 2007 Annual Board President’s Luncheon in an amount not to exceed $7,000.00 from Fund #6120.01.250 – Trustee Support. 

 

 

Background:

 

The President’s luncheon is an event held by the District on an annual basis prior to the holiday season.  Due to the expanded growth of District staff, the event budget will need to increase in order to accommodate the additional number of guests.

 

 

Recommendation:

 

Approve catering and event services costs to host the 2007 Annual Board President’s Luncheon in an amount not to exceed $7,000.00 from Fund #6120.01.250 – Trustee Support.

 

 

Fiscal Impact:

 

Current funds available in Fund #6120.01.250 – Trustee Support is $20,746, which is 86% of the budgeted amount for this line item.  This expenditure is approximately 34% of the available balance.
