Discussion and/or approval regarding majority needed for Code of Conduct violations –Executive Committee

Background:

At the August 14, 2007, Board of Trustees Meeting, the Trustees referred to the Executive Committee the question of the standard for approval to find a Trustee in violation of the Code of Conduct. The Executive Committee researched this concern and found that with the exception of Indio most cities had no policy.

Committee Recommendation:

The Executive Committee recommends that the Board of Trustees adopt the policy as written with the requirement of a simple majority to find a Trustee in violation of the Code of Conduct.
